Film photography acts as a journal in my life. In a world where nearly everything I do is digital, shooting film gives me a sense of calm. The tangible rituals of reloading the film, cranking it forward, and handing it off to the nice lady at the photo lab keep me grounded and make me feel more connected to the earth.
